小猪 is damn funny

小猪 is damn funny.

Currently am in love with Jay Chou’s latest ablum.

There’s a funny song with an even funnier dance in the MTV. How can i not like this song when Jay Chou declared his love for milk? Except that of course i love beer too. There’s english subtitle that even Mrs Chongky can understand what Jay Chou is singing here. They should have more of this english subtitle thing.

And there are songs from “Secret”.

Go search for the other song yourself k. No time. That’s not the title, i mean i have no time.

And then there is another emo song.

And another light hearted song to end this entry.

Five Singaporeans missing in Cambodian boat race mishap: officials

I have been following this news since yesterday, checking for updates on google search every now and then. While i read similar reports frm Reuters and CNA yesterday, and more details on the Straits Times this morning, what just came up on CNA is saddening, though expected.

I rowed once with the team, and i know how everyone doesn’t like the personal floatation devise. I didn’t like it myself, and just like everyone else, i chose not to put it on, despite being an anal kayaking instructor who would emphasize on the importance of the PFD.

It’s unfortunate that this happened.

Missed this news update earlier. My condolences to their friends and family.

Go international

Should i be able to affrod it, my child(ren) should go to international school.

Where he / she / they can enjoy learning in a small class, able to think while learning, and spend the time working on 10 years series on doing something he / she / they would be really passionate about.

Burned (out)

Wtf…. i didn’t even do much.

It’s confirmed

Won’t be around in December.

Hold on. Ok depends on what do you have in mind, i’m around on certain days.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

I’m sure many of us have gone through this while we were growing up. Laughing at a fellow classmate being gay, or being laughed at being gay. If this didn’t happen in secondary school, in JC there’s this faggot comment going all around.

Many times we don’t mean what we say. We just say for fear of being on the opposite side. To the kids, there are only two sides. Homophobic aka the normal cool side, and the gay side. Even some teachers think this way. I remembered i had a teacher who commented that she would turn a classmate into homosexual right in class, for something that i don’t remember.

I have never taken a strong stand against gays. Against specific gays, yes. Like the middle age man who tried to pick me up at a gym near my place. To me that was downright despicable. A young man who’s barely out of JC, and an experienced gay taking active actions to prep and lure him to his place.

In fact i reckon i shouldn’t be using the word gay here. But i guess that’s the normal way the marginalized group is addressed in this society.

Go watch the movie. It’s funny. It’s entertaining. Yes. But it has its intrisic meaning.

Next time there’s a wear pink and run support gay movement or wear pink picnic movement, i will go out to the nearest mall, grab a pink shirt and show up at the event.

There is seriously nothing wrong with the lifestyle choice. Why marginalize them?

How Can Mrs Chongky Hate Me?

Reasons why Mrs Chongky should not hate me like she commented in the last post.

1. I made sure she is well-fed

Evidence: Mrs Chongky gets all the donuts she wants, from Dunkin to Krispy to Munchy to Popdon to Donut Factory.

Exhibit 1A - at KL, Dunkin’ Donut

And of course, just eating donut is an unhealthy diet. So i introduced Mrs Chongky to the yummy worth-every-single-cent-in-a-value-for-money Thai food. We even witnessed it move from Sembawang Shopping Centre to Yishun Industrial Park. The only stage that you missed out was the part where it was at the foodcourt, which i had only patronized once or twice before the stall moved out.

Exhibit 1B - happily eating at the Thai Food place.

2. I made her do all sort of crazy things with me

Like going on holiday during the World Cup 2006 season. (nothing crazy about this, just want to present exhibit 2A)

Exhibit 2A - at the now-defunct Regent KL.

And of course climbing, which initially seen us scaling the wall at Cat High, then Climb 5, then Batu.

Exhibit 2B - Cat High

Exhibit 2C - the first visit to Camp 5 and Mrs Chongky fell in love with the place

And of course there’s luge at Sentosa which we feel we can’t give it a miss, however costly it might be. Or however slow Mrs Chongky might be because she didn’t dare to chiong down the slope.

Exhibit 2D - the experience and fun is worth every single cent

3. I made sure Mrs Chongky has a correct balance of fun - the outdoor fun and the indoor fun

Exhibit 3A - outdoor at Cafe Del Mar, which we will not visit again because we had decided to stop clubbing / pubbing after an unhappy incident with a particular company

Exhibit 3B - indoor, sand art at Plaza Singapura

4. And of course i did give her flowers, when i can afford it

Exhibit 4A - flowers, but i didn’t buy it. Mrs Chongky did, for Gina.

Like what the florist and her Japanese customer were thinking, i always give the cute little flowers on the normal occassion, when i have the spare cash.

Conclusion:

Mrs Chongky can’t be hating me.

Pardon the poorly structured entry. I want to go to bed, no time to think and edit.

Back

Yes Mr Chongky is back again. But with nothing much more to say till after exams.

Chicken

As Mrs Chongky puts it, army ration has chicken that has been dead for damn long.

LOL…
