Heard Closing Time for the First Time This Semester

My new Wii gave up on me last night. Today i called my seller, and he reckons the adapter broke. He offered me a new one and i’m going back tonight to try if it works.

Feeling all sore and tired this morning. The swollen thumb from volleyball yesterday is now better. More flexibility and slightly less pain when i move the joint. Will post more about yesterday after i got the pictures from Mrs Chongky.

Need to go studio quite soon. Will take time to tidy up the blog when i have the time. There seem to be a lot of great features that WP provides but i didn’t get around to explore or use them.

And i think i do need a job. Better sooner than later.

And library is playing “Closing Time” song. Time to get out of here. Hee.

Honda Jazz

I just did a test drive of Honda Jazz.

Damn… i think i have fallen in love with the car. If only i have the $$ to get it.

  :(

Damn it i hate being student!

KTV today was nice. As usual, KTV has been great since i overcome that KTV shyness i had for much of the internship this summer. I reckon it could be even better if they had  王强’s 秋天不回来.

Today is a weird day. In the perspective of a student, i suck and wasted a good whole day. In the view of a person, i think today is great. I sang. I slept. I danced. I rediscovered that confidence i lack for so long. I biked. I spent time with Mrs Chongky.

Agenda for tomorrow: frigging deal with the mid term coming up next wed, more project work to be done, take measurement for performance clothes, find time to exercise, and i just remembered i have to mark the stats assignments which i had conveniently put it at the back of my head.

It would be best if i have more passion in what i do now. Fact is, i’m tired of what i have been doing and i want very much to just focus on sports / dance / self-improvement courses. I don’t want to mug like SMUggers… :(

Back from First Night Cycling Trip

Dear all,

Mrs Chongky and I are back safely from our first ever night cycling trip. Not a particularly long trip, only from Gambas Ave right down to Thomas Road Long House. But it’s enough to push Mrs Chongky to her limit (because she hasn’t exercised in eons and i’m so proud of her determination). I enjoyed the trip too, the fresh air and the exercise.

WZ, Jean and her colleagues are the most patient with the two cycling noobs. We practically slowed the entire group down, and they were nice about that. I wonder if i would be as gracious about it when i become a better cyclist.

After what happened these couple of months, i think i am not a great person. I have a personality that i would detest, but not as bad as someone i heard about. Not that i like hanging around this person. That was when i have not experienced the worse. I heard he

  1. Is damn boastful, yet stingy
  2. Orders ice water when the group goes for beer / chill session
  3. Don’t contribute to the group
  4. And more that i don’t think i want to go on and on, and besides, it’s not that nice if i do that.

All in all, i would like to conclude this happening and tiring day here. Mrs Chongky is damn tired, and i’m suffering a terrible buttache.

If you should fail to see me report at 11am for KTV, please give us a call. We must have overslept (not that i wish to).

Reminder to self: also attend the PS workshop and go for shirt measurement.

Sculpture Exhibition Going on Now

Recently Mrs Chongky and i have became more artsy. Mrs Chongky even managed to take rather artistic shots.

But sometimes you can have the best photographer in the world, but if you don’t have the right person in the frame, the photo would still turn out…

But I reckon mixing messing around at the right place helps. We have been volunteering at Sculpture Sq over the last few days. And while i’m on this topic, i figured i might as well encourage you to visit the current exhibitions.

Last saturday was the opening of Molecule, an exhibition of children’s work.

You would be amazed at what these children can do. I bet anyone of them is more creative than i am. I bet i probably won’t have anything to show at the end of the day if i were to attend such a workshop. And yet the children all came up with at least one peice of work that are all on display at the Lower Gallery.

I guess i probably have the can-scare-children / beat-you-up-if-you-touch-the-artwork face. I was asked to volunteer as the bouncer minder volunteer.

And then there’s another solo exhibition by Victor Guadalajara in conjunction with Mexican Fest at the Chapel.

To be truthful, i enjoy this exhibition more. Not because i am the gallery sitter this time round and i don’t have stand.

I think it’s because i don’t have that 童真 in me to appreciate the children’s arts. Anyway i’m not very good at describing anything fine arts related. I guess you just have to take my word and visit the exhibition yourself.

The 6th Annual Party

Baby claims that i don’t love her.

How can i not love my baby right? I can post the loveliest photos she likes and in order to post photos, i definitely have to talk about something. Else who would want to read this damn blog which hasn’t been updated for months?

And so here goes…. the photos from JJSalsaRengue 6th Annual Party.

Theme was tattoo. I got the cool Spiderman tattoo. And Mrs Chongky, well you guessed it. Butterflies.

Sadly the party was the last time we got to drive the Picnic out. The convenience of having a car. And damn with urban planning in Singapore. I say we need more parking lots. And URA is probably not even hearing us out. After all, limited lots = more cars cannot park on lots= more summons.

Back to that night. Dinner was at this spicy ramen place at China Square, 别府.

Ramen wasn’t excellent, but novelty still works on me.

Salsa action started after dinner. Plenty to drink, and Mrs Chongky probably had her best salsa night ever.

Good lighting for photo-whoring, lots of drinks, great performance by KC, Grace, Dennis and Gaik. What else can we ask for?

RunAbout 2007

I love my baby.

Yes i’m talking about that abusive one.

Being the cam whore i am, i reckon i would love to publish more photos than i would want to talk about myself right now. Let me present to you….. the most recent photos of Chongky….. at SMU RunAbout 2007

I’m not sure how i ended up looking so cock when i run. Not that i usually look so cock when i run. Must be the lousy starting position by the side.

And baby at one of her prettiest pissest moments that day.

And Team Acrojunkie.

Ok i would love to talk more about what i have not talked about in the past few months, but man i need to go off for dance. Welcome to Chongky’s new salsa world -_-”

Back to Normal

You know you’re almost back to normal when you log into your WordPress blog and want to write an entry.

You know you’re normal when you’re back to wearing ugly clothes (that looks damn cheap) to school - a habit you always pick up when it’s damn close to exams. Except this time round you do it on week 3.

I reckon i’m normal. :P

Welcome back to Zhng My NEH!
