While searching for macaroon recipe during exams period for Mrs Chongky, i came across a comment that this place sells the best chocolate macaroon in Singapore. After exams, i visited Canele’s website and found out that there is a branch at Paragon.
Maybe we shouldn’t have gone there. First time was last thur. Then again on sat. Then sunday go there for takeaway. All in all probably busted our wallet big time.
We tried Creme Brule (vanilla) on thursday but it was out of stock on saturday night. Of course it’s not available for takeaway on sunday. Mrs Chongky is still craving for it (i’m not a large fan of vanilla or vanilla seeds) and if my brother keeps his words, we can probably bill it to him this sunday.
Woo hoo!
I personally like Rum Baba.

Mrs Chongky didn’t fancy that. But alcoholic just can’t resist the rum in the french pastry.
We had also tried chocolate praline souffle. It was heavenly.

It looks kinda dull here. And the souffle and vanilla ice-cream combination is slightly over-priced in my opinion.

If you are not a great lover of french pastry, i’m sure you would like the cakes here. The favours i have tried had not let me down. If you’re dining in, you probably should try the french chocolate cake. The kitchen would warm it up and with the cool cream, yummy!
I would love to talk about the macaroons, but everytime we were there, the chocolate premium ones were always sold out. According to the staff, they are usually sold out by 1pm, if they have the stock. If you are going there and the chocolate macaroons are in stock, please help me get 1 of each favour. I am looking forward to try them.
P/S: This entry should probably be categorized under anti-ZMN life. Getting real fat by eating too much. After dinner last night, i had BK again when i head out to hunt down the spiderman toys. Sigh. By the way, if you have spiderman toy number 1 and 6 and willing to do me a favour by giving them to me, please let me know. Thanks you.
