This year, the AMKSS clique didn’t have pre-CNY lunch on new year’s eve. Instead, we seize the chance that Zhuo’s family is overseas we have a gathering at his place instead.
AMKSS clique consists of a lot of different people from different class, boys and girls, but the neighbourhood school spirits bond everyone of us together. This was from our chalet in 2003.
I’m happy, seeing all the friends i have not seen in a long while. Ruishem whom i’m supposed to study science at NUS with till i left him stranded at the last minute to come to SMU. Junbin, Sum, Jinwei, Zhuo, Tuck Sung - my faithful friends throughout secondary school and after that. Junjin, Edwin, Gavin, Wymond, Edmon, Tingzheng - the soccer gang in secondary school. Sheena, Karen, Diana, Siew Lian - the girls whom i don’t know very wel but acknowledge each other’s existance in the same school through our mutual friends.
Some of the friends who accompanied me through these days, even after secondary school. This was before the poly guys enlisted in 2004.
I’m glad that i have you guys in my life. All the joy and the misadventure / adventure we had in our younger days will always be part of the treasured memories i have. I seriously hope that our friendship will last from now on to many years later.
Some of the secrets and thoughts that i have and not willing to share with anyone else, but i am always willing to open my heart to the people close to it. That includes you guys.
Here’s a toast to my friends - Volka Ruby Red and MARTINI Bianco. You have all learnt my respect in life in one way or another, thought we haven’t been meeting up very often. To the friendship i would treasure dearly, and the years of friendship already of us.
