Invigilating 3 groups taking mid term isn’t a easy job. It is tiring walking around and looking at everyone. This stats TA job is good. Even though the marking of assignment is crazy (the first time i tried it took me 12 hours right through the night to mark everyone’s script), it does come with incentive as well.
Like my own cubicle in the RA lab. It provides an useful hiding place for me in between classes, and the atmosphere there is intensive. Everyone is mugging or doing something intelligent. You just can’t help but feel the motivation. Unlike the library, where everyone seems to be painfully studying, this people here seem to like the mental exchange between textbook and self very much.
Even just being TA for LTM is rewarding as well. I’m not talking about the upcoming mid term that i have to invigilate as well. I’m talking about the group. The LTB group i was mentoring did this while they were bored in class.
After we finished the rocher that one of them brought to class, the group took a marker and vandalise the box. All sort of things were written. From the group to the members to the leader to the nasty CSP client. Then they wrote about me as well.
Si Lai Sat Sau, or aunty killer. Not in literal sense, but it refers to a charming guy that attracts the mature ladies.

Conclusion: TA-ship is addictive.
