I am one of those people who can’t shut up when i see something wrong / unfair / gross / disgusting. It’s just your luck that you have to choose to talk to me about the “art work”. Man, if i’m ugly then i would make it sound ugly, even though i have tried my best to search for a great sounding adjuctive to mask that disgust.
If the performance is weird looking, then don’t perform, i would say. I see more energy off stage RIGHT AFTER the performance than when these people are on stage.
And if the handiwork is poor, then don’t try to pull it off as an ”art work”. If anything that is unsightly is art, then nature is a great artist. But wait! Nature is more of functional than an artist.
When i disagree when something, i would try to put it across in the best manner i can. Of course it sounds more mild in comparison to when i bitch about the same issue. But hey, i don’t want to ruin any nice impression, if there’s any, of me. Not the impression in the mind of the character-less person. It’s the rest who are present.
And while bathing last night, i just realised that i am a qualified candidate for OBS. Outdoor experience, first aid qualification, organisation skills. Who cares if i didn’t win the whole world in something i do. Like what the FT prof says, don’t compare. Because once you start, you would always lose. Because you might have won all in your age group locally, but you can never win all out of your age group, neither can you win all within your age group around the world.
Now that’s humbility humility.
