Technical Apparels

I am a happy man. In debt of $47.20 to WZ - mental note.

We went shopping with our voucher (yes WZ forgot his) at Key Power International on Monday. And now we have our red team cycling jersey from Parentini. Individual cycling / running tights from Pearl Izumi. And we have our own running jersey from Descente.

So excited to have my own set of technical apparel. I mean, you don’t have to be an elite runner to own all these. Just a fat wallet. Or just some sheer luck to enter a such a race that comes great sponsors.

Why do i feel so motivated suddenly?

Post Pelepah Trek

I have came back from Pelepah waterfall. Don’t worry i’m still in one peice. Mrs Chongky too. Though she is currently having some behavioral issues and now she thinks she is an insect.

On our way to the waterfall, we passed by Kota Tinggi and witnessed first hand the devastating effect of the recent flood. The terrain changed quite a bit from the heavy rainfall. Everything is suddenly steeper and still quite slippery. There were landslides, fallen trees across the river and stuff. The two days we were there it did rain. And pretty heavy in the night. Lucky i was already sleeping in the tent. A non-leaky tent.

The trek is definitely challenging. Nothing like what i have heard about being leisure and stuff. Perhaps it’s just me. Leisure to me sounds like a hike into Bukit Timah natural reserve. Even my lovely Teva feels slippery on the wet rocks. My Solomon dry pack broke, i’m not sure why. Everything got a bit moist.

Oh wellz. Kinda expected. Solomon has great design, but poor quality.

Detached

I reckon i have grew detached from everybody over the Dec break. I find myself used to eating along in between class, going to break on my own, really apt at staring at my lappy waiting for time to pass.

As compared to last sem when i am so used to calling up the friends to see who is where.

It seems like a cycle. I know friends, we became close, we drifted apart. And then the process repeats. I felt like asking if it’s just me. Then again, since the same process keeps repeating it’s gotta be me.

Whatever. Can’t be too bothered to think reflect too much. Just look at my accumulated school work:

1) AE homework due on next wed

2) IE homework due next thur

3) Labour homework due next mon

4) Portfolio quiz on mon

5) Patron’s day tug-of-war (for the first time in SMU, i am representing SESS instead of other CCA)

6) Preparation for IE consultation on Mon

Just check out the entire list and consider my sat and sun flooded in Pelepah. What the hell i find that time to finish up everything. Plus i haven’t exercised this entire week.

Man i better get started if i want some time at City Square after the trek.

Dance idol: Dan Kwok

Dan told Aud that i have potential.

He told me that i can move.

So what? I have potential or i can move? Hahaha…

My New Role

I reckon i am now a full time bummer, part time dancer and freelance student.

Can’t believe i am still awake at this hour after this long long long long day.

At Cognitare

Cognitare sure is tiring. Workshop for more than 4 hours, then work till 12ish before dinner, and then shower at 2ish before working again till 6ish. Sleep till 7ish. Everything follows quite soon after we woke up.

I suppose i do look great in suit.

And here’s a tribute to my first Cognitare team. Check out the bright smile at 3pm with just 2 hours of sleep.

Week 4

FT has been enjoyable so far. I didn’t know handshake is supposed to come after “nice to meet you, Mr so-and-so”. Probably that’s because the interview is not here yet, though it’s closing in.

I have been neglecting school work, though it’s only week 4. I have been late for two straight week for the TA class i sit in. Homeworks are never done before the day they are due. Hair not styled until later in the afternoon.

I am becoming a full time bummer, part time dancer, and freelance student.

Sigh.

OH! Min and Qi are at my place now. Woo hoo. The cutie pies.

Countdown to Cognitare

Manchi asked me not to advertise her tum tum.

Ok lor i won’t.

Feeling damn sleepy now. Nothing goes in. Everything from labor econs stays in the class. Shit it’s only week 3 and i have quite a bit of catching up to do.

The girls are probably staying at my place for a year. Woo hoo! Then i can see the irritating but cute girl more often.

One hour more to Cognitare Case Challenge. Yet my bak cho mee is still in front of me. The smell is just too strong to eat in class. I’m still in my jeans, and hair is still messy since i bathed this morning. And the best news must be i’m in the opposite end of the school from where i should be 15 minutes after lesson ends, fully dressed and ful.

I’m so going to rush right after the class.

The ZMN Monster

This is no kidding matter.

Manchi just openly say i have tummy on her blog. Then again cannot blame her. ‘Cause i expose her first.

ROAR.

The figher in Chongky has been unleashed. I is the going to NUS Biathlon then Singapore Biathlon (all with 2 weeks, not one week like the previous round), then Swissotel Marathon then Stanchart Half Marathon then SAFRA AVventura again.

I is the quite pissed off. I have slacked for almost 2 years already. Now it’s time to wake up and go back to the old way.

3rd day straight swimming and feeling very good. Muscle ache is good.

Now it’s no more beehoon with kang kong for dinner. It’s going to be 6 meals a day and one workout everyday.

We are going to win first this year, ain’t we?

Congrats to Elise and Eric

Congrats to Elise and Eric. I have known them from quite a while already. From just before they know each other until they got together then proposed and then last thur, finally married.

I cannot say i have been there when the significant events happened. I missed a fair share of them. But still i am very happy for them.

Photo taken in 2005. All of us look much better now with our hair back. HAHA…
