Wants

When all the basic needs are taken care of, the next item on the list is the wants. Sigh…

I hate to study without music, even though i can work perfectly well without it. But when it comes to studying, reading the notes, i think i would die without music. And at times, yes it is stupid to on my laptop and let it run, consume all the electricity just because i want to listen to the songs on the playlist.

At times like this, i hope i have an iPod.

Argh! I used to tell myself that it’s ok if i don’t have one. I can happily use my laptop. But come on, won’t it be useful to own one of those high end gadget so that i can focus better without turning on my laptop and having one big distraction right in front of me?

And then when Mrs Chongky got her Nano, i told myself i can use hers. But then i just realised what’s the joy of listen when i don’t get to hear my familiar Jay Chou or Mayday?

And then i used to tell myself i don’t need a set of dumb bell because there are so many sets in the school gym. At times like this when i am bored to studying and don’t wish to move away from my seat, i really wish dumb bells fall from the sky so that i can vent some of my boredom there.

Sigh…

Life isn’t a peice of cake. I just need to remind myself more of my background and my upbringing. Nothing is smooth-sailing. I don’t get the stuff i want more often than i do.

FUCK LA IF ONLY I AM PERFECTLY WELL I WOULD HAVE SIGNED ON THAT STUPID LSA AND BUY THE STUPID DUMB BELLS AND THE IPOD SO I WON’T BE IN THIS STATE OF SELF PITY.
